RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Franklin Street Arranges $37M Sale of 13-Property Industrial Portfolio in Tampa Franklin Street’s Tampa-based Office and Industrial Services Team of Pat Kelly and Brad Hutton brokered the transaction on behalf of the buyer, New-York based Thor Equities Group. The acquisition marks the firm’s first major investment in Tampa Bay. The seller is RS Tampa International.
The portfolio is comprised of warehouses and distribution facilities throughout Tampa’s Westshore/Airport and Eastside submarkets, providing access to 20 million consumers in a 200-mile radius. Comprising 402,000 square feet, the portfolio was 98% leased at the time of sale and the 13 properties range from 5,500 to 78,700 square feet.
“Industrial real estate in Tampa Bay continues to be a hot ticket and we are pleased to have helped put the pieces together to complete this transaction,” said Kelly. “These properties are located in some of Florida’s most in-demand industrial submarkets and are well positioned for continued growth.”
Some of the portfolio’s existing tenants include Thermotech Enterprises and Superior Pool Products. Other tenants include companies in the shipping, cabinetry, auto repair, beverage and water filtration industries. |
