RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Bagel shop, Asian restaurant, high-end cocktail bar coming to Hyde Park Village Tampa-based Three Oaks Hospitality signed a lease for the vacant space at 1500 W. Swann Ave. but did not disclose the concepts it had planned for the real estate, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported in February. The space is next door to where Barry’s Bootcamp plans to open.
“Three Oaks Hospitality is renowned for creating memorable restaurants and bars, and they share our passion for serving the Tampa Bay community,” Nicole Dee, general manager of Hyde Park Village, said in a statement. “Their upcoming concepts will enhance our existing mix of over a dozen food and beverage offerings, as well as add to our collection of locally owned brands.”
The developers of Water Street Tampa and Midtown Tampa have also recently landed Asian restaurants. Wagamama is coming to Water Street, and Sunda New Asian will open in Midtown Tampa.
Three Oaks is the parent company of several bars and restaurants previously under the BE-1 Concepts umbrella, including Ciro’s and M. Bird. BE-1 filed for bankruptcy to halt plans to develop a market-style food hall in St. Petersburg’s Sundial.
Hyde Park Village recently struck a deal with Palisociety, a hospitality company that operates boutique hotels throughout California’s major metros as well as in Seattle and Portland, Oregon. WS Development, the Boston-based developer of Hyde Park Village, will convert second-story office space along West Swann Avenue into hotel rooms.
A representative from Three Oaks was not immediately available for comment Tuesday. |
