St. Petersburg - The former Howard Johnson on 34th Street S is primed for another transformation and is listed for sale. Two years ago, Philadelphia dentist Rick Teitlebaum bought the property for $4.5-million and transformed it into a GuestHouse International and later, into a Knight's Inn last year. The hotel is empty and Pinellas hotel investor Gus Menna has the property listed for $6-million. The rumor was the owners of the Suncoast Resort, which was torn down to make way for a Home Depot, were to take over Knight's Inn, but agent Claude Hanks says he hasn't heard from them. Hanks says he's getting interest in the 128-room, 5-acre parcel at 4601 34th St. S.
