Hydro-Dyne completes $5 million transaction for Pinellas facility

Hydro-Dyne Engineering purchased a more than 100,000-square-foot facility in Pinellas County to accommodate the company's expansion.

The real estate transaction is valued to more than $5 million and will largely expand the company's manufacturing, service, research and design capacity, according to a statement.

Hydro-Dyne, an Oldsmar manufacturer of custom-engineered screening and grit removal equipment for water and wastewater facilities, has grown its employee base by 70 percent over the past year, the statement said.

With the help of Pinellas County Economic Development, Hydro-Dyne used an Industrial Revenue Bond to finance a portion of the new facility, which is located at 4750 118th Ave. N., Clearwater.
