Tampa's Crescent Bayshore apartment complex on schedule to open next summer

TAMPA - Builders on Friday will hoist the last beam for one of the five towers of Crescent Bayshore, a 367-apartment complex set to open on the north end of Bayshore Boulevard next summer.

The $68 million project, which broke ground in January, will feature five eight-story apartment buildings on four waterfront acres at 319 Bayshore Blvd.

Apartments will feature granite countertops, private balconies and built-in USB outlets; the complex will feature a resort-style pool, wine lounge and pub room.

Rent rates were not shared, but promoters have already begun advertising that tenants will have "an exclusive Hyde Park address."

The project's North Carolina-based developer, Crescent Communities, has unveiled half a dozen subdivisions, apartment and condo complexes across Tampa Bay, including the 17-story Parkside of One Bayshore condo tower just north of the site.
