Tampa Industrial Partners has acquired the former Duro Bag Manufacturing building across from the Tampa IKEA store for $825,000.

The 3.3-acre property will be added to Tampa Industrial Partners' adjacent 16.6-acre site. The combined properties extend from 26th Street to 28th Street on Adamo Drive, making it the largest continuous high-profile parcel available on Adamo Drive (SR 60).

The site is being marketed for sale by The Dikman Co., which represented Tampa

Industrial Partners in the transaction. "We anticipate the buyer of this parcel will be a big-box retailer such as Walmart, The Home Depot, Costco or Sam's Club,” Dikman President and CEO Bob Dikman said in a statement.

Duro Standard Products Co. bought the property for $692,800 in 2000. The 112,000-square-foot warehouse dates to 1954.
