Church Avenue Apartments, a 19-unit apartment community in Tampa, has sold for $665,000, or $35,000 per unit.
Casey Babb, and Earle Hyman of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services represented two Miami couples selling the property, Nicomedes and Sylvia Leon, and Mario and Emma Leon.
Earle Hyman and Nicholas Meoli of Marcus & Millichap represented the California-based 1031-exchange buyer, listed in court records as Ray Joseph Enterprises Inc.
Built in 1971 on 2.5-acres at 6408 N. Church Ave., the property closed for 98 percent of the asking price, according to a statement from the real estate company.
Other big transactions in the region includea $1.2 million mobile home park in Bradenton and a $500,000 former bank branch in Lakewood Ranch.
