Wawa to build another store in St. Petersburg

Agree Realty Corp. said it closed on the acquisition of a parcel of land located near the southwest corner of 34th Street North and 38th Avenue in St. Petersburg for the development of a Wawa convenience store with fuel.

The project is pre-leased under a long-term ground lease agreement. The store is expected to open by the end of the year,according to a statement.

This is the Agree's (NYSE: ADC) fourth announced development for Wawa in Florida.

Wawa officials did not return calls or email.
