The Container Store will open its doors across the street from International Plaza on March 16.

The 25,000-square-foot store will be the third Container Store in Florida and is expected to create 55 new jobs, according to a statement.

Tampa was the most requested city on Facebook for a new store, the statement said.

The company plans to open stores in Orlando and Boca Raton later this year.

The Container Store is a retailer of storage and organization products.
