Two Tampa-based developers earned high honors last week at an industry trade show, winning Multifamily Project of the Year for an apartment complex they built in Boynton Beach.

Seabourn Cove, developed by Charles Funk and Jeff Meehan, won the award at the National Association Home Builders' International Builders Show in Las Vegas. Called by the trade group the country's biggest "green" apartment complex, the 23-acre gated community of 456 high-end apartments boasts lower energy bills and garages prewired for electric-car chargers.

Funk and Meehan also developed the Bank of Tampa building, the Arbor Greene and Stonelake Ranch communities in Hillsborough County, and the Bayside Marina in Tampa.
