TAMPA - A Harbour Island mansion sold Tuesday for $5.45 million in cash, becoming the 10th-priciest Tampa Bay home to sell in the last five years, Multiple Listing Service records show.

The 7,400-square-foot Renaissance Way mansion is one of eight homes custom-built at the gated tip of Harbour Island.

Dr. Ignacio Armas, a Brandon gynecologist, and his wife, Teresa, bought the half acre of undeveloped waterfront in 2000 for $950,000. The home was built two years later.

The home boasts a two-story limestone foyer, a mahogany-paneled library, cypress-wood ceilings, a wine cellar, a boat lift and a four-car garage, a sales listing shows. All five bedrooms have their own bathrooms and walk-in closets. The master suite holds a sitting room, morning bar, fireplace and private terrace.

Selling agent Kymerly Burton would not name the buyer. A deed of sale had not yet been recorded.
