TAMPA - Add a Sarasota hotel development company to the lineup of groups that wants to build a destination youth sports complex in Tampa Bay.

GoodSports Fieldhouse, a division of Focus Hospitality Services LLC, proposes a 60,000-square-foot multi-sport fieldhouse and adjoining 115-room athlete-focused hotel, including dining, laundry and meeting spaces oriented to traveling teams and their families.

The company envisions 25 locations nationwide by 2020, said Anthony Homer, GoodSports' vice-president of development. It has approval to build its first project in Wichita, Kan., in 2013.
