The 65,510-square-foot site that was formerly home to Albertsons grocery store in west Bradenton has a new owner.

The Albertsons retail center closed in June, six years after ABNK Properties LLC bought the property in 2006 for $4.92 million, the Bradenton Herald said. ABNK has now sold the center for $6.612 million to a subsidiary of LNR Properties.

LNR, a firm that specializes in managing commercial real estate, hasn't yet disclosed its plans for the property. Based on information available on the company's website, LNR has "repositioned" more than 40 million square feet of space, the Herald reported.
