HEI Hotels & Resorts acquired the Residence Inn Clearwater Downtown.

The purchase price was not disclosed.

The 115-room all-suites premium select-service hotel is the 12th acquisition by HEI's Fund III and the 14th hotel in the Marriott brand family in HEI's 42-property portfolio, a statement said. The seven-story hotel was developed in 2008.

The transaction was brokered by HFF in Tampa.

HEI Hotels & Resorts is headquartered in Norwalk, Conn.
