WESLEY CHAPEL - The developers of the Shops at Wiregrass have been tight-lipped about tenants for their 'lifestyle center' under construction at State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.

In two years, Forest City Enterprises and The Goodman Co. have revealed only JCPenney and Dillard's as part of the lineup. Both department stores will be anchors. A third anchor remains unidentified.

Construction plans under review by Pasco County shed light on the rest of the roster, a list that has a lot in common with Tampa's International Plaza. The Wiregrass shopping center's central plaza, which will feature an oversized 'W' formed by sculpted blades of grass, will be ringed by a two-story Barnes & Noble bookstore, Pottery Barn, Forever XXI and a to-be-named restaurant.

Other stores will range from Aveda to Motherhood Maternity to Williams-Sonoma. Also on the plans are Ann Taylor Loft, New York & Company, Origins and Coldwater Creek.

Forest City Vice President Jim Richardson repeatedly has declined to discuss potential tenants. The list will be unveiled at a groundbreaking next month, he said recently.

The Shops at Wiregrass is one of three major shopping venues under development in Wesley Chapel. Work also is under way on Cypress Creek Town Center and The Grove at Wesley Chapel.

The Shops won rezoning from county officials last month that cleared work on the bulk of the 800,000-square-foot plaza. The county's Development Review Committee will consider construction plans Thursday.
