Publix Super Markets Inc. purchased Island Estates Plaza, a 50,046-square-foot, grocery-anchored neighborhood center in Clearwater Beach, for $8.1 million free and clear of debt, a written statement said.

HFF (NYSE: HF) marketed the property on behalf of the seller, DAM Clearwater LLC, an entity wholly owned by David A. Mack Properties LLC.

The property at 130 Island Way is 4.2 acres and is in the Island Estates neighborhood along the Clearwater Memorial Causeway between downtown Clearwater and Clearwater Beach. The property is fully leased to tenants including Publix, Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) and The UPS Store.
