RETURN TO NEWS INDEX Done deals: Courtyard Apartments sold for $1.2M Courtyard Apartments in St. Petersburg sold for $1,175,000, according to Bryn D. Merrey, regional manager of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Service Tampa office, which listed the property. A limited liability company represented by Regan, Carriera and Nicholas Meoli bought the 59-unit property at 2400 15th Ave. S. "It was a challenging transaction because it was a short sale and the property was only 60 percent occupied,†Carriera said in a release. BayCare Health System expanded their occupancy at Colonial Center Bayside II by 13,556 square feet to a total lease of 60,749 square feet. The health care network will take occupancy of the expanded space in August. The office building is located at 17755-17757 U.S. 19 N in Clearwater. Clay Wommack of CB Richard Ellis negotiated the lease on behalf of the owner, DRA Advisors/Colonial Properties Trust. A three-unit waterfront residential property in Indian Rocks Beach involved in a four-year-old estate dispute sold for $345,000. A California investor bought the 3,644-square-foot property, 2411 Bay Blvd., according to The Ross Realty Group Inc. of Clearwater and Prudential Tropical Realty, which represented a court-appointed magistrate selling the property. Elliott M. Ross estimated the property might have fetched twice as much if it had avoided court and gone on the market before the real estate downturn. |
