The Belleair Town Commission chose StoneCreek Partners LLC, based in Las Vegas, from 10 applicants to conduct a feasibility study of the Belleview Biltmore Hotel.

The $55,000 study, expected to be complete in two months, will determine the best use of the property.

"There are only three conclusions,” said Belleair Mayor Gary Katica. "Either it can be restored, partially restored or not at all. We need to know that.”

Town leaders chose StoneCreek in large part for the objectivity it could offer being from out of town, Katica said.
