Lazydays RV is getting a whole lot bigger. The recreational vehicle seller bought Beaudry RV in Tucson, Ariz., last month. Lazydays paid $9.55 million for the RV campground, sales and service center previously operated by the prominent Tucson RV dealer, which opened in 1972 but fell on hard times a couple of years ago, according to the Arizona Daily Star. Lazydays was founded in 1976 and has grown into the largest single-site RV dealer in the country. It plans to reopen the Tucson campground and service facilities in the coming months. "When Lazydays opens in a few short months, you'll have the opportunity to experience an RV buying and ownership journey that's unique in the industry," Lazydays wrote on its website. In an unrelated move, the recent spike in gas prices forced the Seffner-based company to lay off 50 workers from its staff of more than 500 this week.
