In one of the biggest local retail property deals in years, AEG Capital Management, an institutional investor, has paid $38 million for Northwood Plaza in Clearwater. Located at the northwest corner of McMullen-Booth Road and Enterprise Boulevard, the center is 91 percent leased and anchored by Publix, Steinmart and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, according to Plaza Advisors, which handled the sale. AEG hired Sembler Co. to manage the property.
