Mike's Pies has signed a lease for 29,400 square feet at Duke Realty's Eagle Creek Business Center, 8601 Florida Mining Blvd. in Tampa.

The Tampa-based producer of pies and other desserts will move its 30-employee operation Dec. 1 from 8420 Sunstate St.

The transaction brings occupancy at the three-building, 260,305-square-foot office/warehouse complex to 96 percent and overall occupancy of Duke Realty's 1.26-million-square-foot industrial portfolio in Tampa to 97 percent leased, the company said in a statement.

Duke Realty Vice President Tim Hain represented ownership in the transaction. Rian Smith, an associate in the Tampa office of Cushman & Wakefield, represented Mike's Pies.

Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE) owns and operates more than 134 million rentable square feet of industrial, office and medical office space in 18 major U.S. cities.
