A 127-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott is on schedule to open March 8 in Tampa.

SpringHill Suites Tampa North, located at 5396 Primrose Lake Circle, will operate as a franchise of Marriott International Inc. (NYSE:MAR).

Sun Development and Management Corp. of Indianapolis will own and manage the hotel.

The property will feature 1,035 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate as many as 50 people.

The hotel also will have dry cleaning services, a fitness center, and a market with food and beverages.

Sun Development owns and operates 26 properties in 11 states under a variety of franchise affiliations and has another eight hotels under development and construction.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott, an all-suite, select-service hotel brand launched in November 1998, has about 250 locations in the United States and Canada.
