Pockets of Pinellas County could have some of the worst apartment vacancies. One area to watch is the stressed Carillon/Gateway business district near Gandy Boulevard.

In one spot of "good" news, Marcus & Millichap predicted Tampa Bay would lose only 4,000 jobs this year, compared to 51,000 jobs in 2009.
