CLEARWATER BEACH - The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in mid-January, and reservations are being accepted for stays that will begin on Feb. 1, a Hyatt spokeswoman said.

The 250 one- and two-bedroom suite hotel is on the half-mile long Beach Walk shopping, dining and entertainment strip and anchors the $30 million revitalization project.

The grand opening promotion will enable guests to take advantage of 15 percent off the best available rate plus a daily $50 daily resort credit when entering the booking code CBINTR when making a reservation.
